****WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON****

As Qualia embarks on its next phase of growth, we are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to help fuel our efforts to scale the organization. The Desktop Support Specialist will get exposure to all aspects of the business IT at Qualia's two Austin locations, and work closely with various departments to improve technological literacy, efficiency, and productive uptime. The ideal candidate for this role is an accountable, analytical, inquisitive, and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to our Sr. Manager of IT, you'll be responsible for all in-person support at our two Austin offices, assisting with the execution of company-wide IT projects, keeping the A/V systems up and running, and being the "face" of our distributed IT workforce.

****RESPONSIBILITIES****

* Provide in-person support for end-user workstations, audio-visual and teleconferencing equipment, and other office technologies

* Create IT-facing documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer to colleagues

* Create user-facing training materials to reduce support requests

* Own IT inventory tracking & management

* Assist with ticket queue management

* Assist with other special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

****YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH****

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* 2-5+ years of experience in an in-person IT support role

* Strong communication skills, including ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users

* Detail-oriented with ability to both follow and write technical documentation

* You work best in a highly collaborative environment

* Strong performer under pressure and tight timelines

* You can think on your feet and have a willingness to own problems
