**Job Summary** Utility Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor on our SH 71 project in Del Valle, TX . Hourly wage is between $14.00 and $17.00, depending on experience. * Perform tasks involving physical labor on project

* Flagging traffic passing near, in, or around work zones

* May operate hand and power tools to install erosion control devices such as silt fence, rock filter dams and cleaning drainage structures

* Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards

* Small repairs to job signage and traffic control devices

* May assist other craft workers

* Perform other labor related duties as instructed by supervisor

* Adhere to all safety guidelines set forth in the companys safety program

* Able to work some nights and weekends

**Required Skills & Experience**

* Physical ability to perform assigned tasks as directed

* Perform various semi-skilled labor functions

* Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of all types

* Able to climb steep slopes and work on your feet for long durations

* Flagging and Traffic Control certification a plus

* Previous heavy highway, road and bridge construction experience preferred

* Able to bend to ground to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs
