**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Comply with and participate in company quality and safety programs

* Cleans grease and dirt from product.

* Mask or protect parts and areas that are not to be sandblasted or coated.

* Sandblast and paint as directed per established specifications.

* Inspects painted surfaces for paint coverage, flow of paint, and color quality.

* Measures thickness of paint applied to objects and completes inspection forms as required.

* Clean paint equipment after usage.

* Maintain blast and paint equipment in good working condition.

* Maintain a clean and safe work area.

* Assist with inventory and reporting of paint and supplies.

* Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

* Interprets specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties.

* Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

* Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.

* Ensure all blast paint equipment is maintained in good working condition.

* Monitor inventory of paint and supplies and complete requisitions for ordering.

* Monitor and document atmospheric conditions as required.

* Performs activities of workers supervised.

* Guide helpers in performing their job duties.

* Must be willing to work overtime or flexible hours as required to meet the production schedule

* Perform all duties of Painter/Sandblaster Level 1

* Other duties may be assigned

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS** Previous industrial painting experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment Completion of High School or General Education Degree (GED) Relevant technical training is an asset Can confidently operate and paint with spray painting tools and equipment Strong attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing work place Is able to work at a fast pace Ability to work in a physically demanding role **Primary Location**
