is a volunteer service within the McMaster Students Union that will walk or bus with users during the evening hours, 7 days a week.

The **SWHAT Walker** is responsible for providing attendance to those wishing accompaniment while walking on and off campus within the boundaries.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

* Able to walk/stand for long periods of time

* Skills in verbal communication

* Organization and time management skills

* Teamwork

* Punctual

**Effort & Responsibility**

* Responsible for providing accompaniment for requested walks

* Responsible for maintaining an appropriate and positive image of the MSU

**Working Conditions**

* Late evenings

* Walking/standing for long periods of time

* Walking long distances and in unpleasant weather

* Working conditions vary

**Training and Experience**

* Participation in SWHAT Walker training

**Equipment**

* Radio

* Flashlight
