**Inventory Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**

Responsible for the overall performance of inventory across a division and will have primary divisional responsibility for the relationship with CHIs distribution vendor. Responsible for maintaining optimal inventories throughout the division and validating accurate accounting consistent with CHI standards. Oversees the annual physical inventory count. Coordinates all recall procedures.

1. Monitors and is accountable for overall inventory performance for all facilities in division

2. Manages relationship with the distribution vendor, ensuring strong rapport and efficient/timely delivery of needed supplies

3. Ensures all facilities in division achieve optimal inventory levels, organizing the reallocation of products if areas show signs of overstocking or understocking

4. Supports and validates comprehensive and accurate inventory accounting consistent with CHI standards

5. Initiates and oversees annual physical inventory counts, developing relevant reports and presentations

6. Coordinates recall processes and procedures for a given division

7. Collaborate with counterpart Divisional Inventory Coordinators to identify solutions in the event of backorders or recalls

**Qualifications**

***Education and Licensure***

Bachelors Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field

***Minimum Experience***

Two years experience within Supply Chain, Finance, or Accounting, or closely related field

***Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities***

Strong knowledge of Financial Management and/or data analysis/analytics

Ability to lead projects, meetings and presentations

Thorough knowledge of computer operations and PC utilization, including database software, spreadsheet software, and Windows operating systems

Keen understanding of hospital and other general health care operations and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
