**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for completing the paperwork and data transactions for receipt of all outside processed materials. Expedites delivery of parts to interplant locations and shipments to warehouse and other sites. Completes all data transactions in computer system to ensure accurate inventory. Ensures all departments have containers and orders containers as needed.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**

* (35%) Ensures accurate shipment of all outgoing finished goods. Performs piece-counting operations at the scale and processes scrap materials.

* (30%) Coordinates materials and parts for shipping. Identifies materials and part locations using MFG Pro.

* (5%) Loads and unloads palletized products onto or from semi-truck with a forklift. Delivers raw materials to manufacturing departments and removes, weigh counts, and stores finished goods from production lines.

* (5%) Ensures cleanliness of all work and storage areas.

* (5%) Performs safety checks and ensures safe operation of all equipment used in the course of accomplishing job responsibilities.

* (5%) Runs reports off MFG Pro to identify materials and parts that must be sent via expedited shipment. Prioritizes workload and expedites. Communicates with all departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.

* (5%) Reprioritizes expedited shipments throughout the day as new requests are received.

* (5%) Prepares and packs all expedited shipments. Completes necessary bills of lading or air bills. Loads trucks accurately to conform to legal load limits.

* (5%) May be required to troubleshoot receipt/ shipment and other transactional discrepancies and take appropriate action to resolve these discrepancies.

**Education and Experience Profile**

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* Must have at least 3 months forklift experience.

**Required Skills**

**Technical/Functional Competencies:**

* Certified (or able to become Kwikset certified within one month) as a forklift operator.

* Computer literate. Able to use Microsoft Outlook, MGF Pro, and computerized shipping equipment (FedEx, UPS, etc).

* Able to run scale processes

* Able to use cell phone and email

* Good math skills

* Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Good organizational skills.

+ Able to understand and follow paperwork procedures accurately.

* Able to analyze data retrieved from reports and translate information into actions that deliver parts as quickly as possible.

+ Well-developed knowledge and understanding of how parts move through our manufacturing and production processes, and the ability to look at parts or part numbers and know if the part is ready to ship or requires additional processing to be a finished part (typically developed through a minimum two years previous Kwikset experience)

+ Able to troubleshoot errors and problem solve to fix them
