Title: Event ManagerRole: Full-Time, Tasting Room FunctionLocation: Austin, TX
We are looking for an experienced event manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact on our tasting room foot traffic and experiences. Youll ensure events are strategic cost-effective, timely, and relevant to the brand. An event manager possesses strong project management and time management skills. The candidate will be knowledgeable on promotion techniques to capture attendance and drive foot traffic. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to pivot, problem-solve, and communicate effectively to create a unique event experience.
ResponsibilitiesPlan the event from start to finish with clear objectives Prepare budgets and ensure adherenceSource and negotiate with vendors and suppliersHire, communicate, and coordinate the hiring vendors (DJs, Chefs, Musicians, etc.)Lead promotional activities for the eventCollaborate with marketing to tell on the eventCoordinate all staff members (event coordinators, caterers, etc.)Develop and collaborate on the run-of-show for the bar and tasting room staffSetup, break down and clean up of the event Prepare monthly snapshots of the events to communicate the resultsPreferred QualificationsMinimum 1-2 years of event management experienceWorked in a role that requires project management skillsKnowledge of KPIs and promotional techniques for the event Outstanding communication and negotiation abilityExcellent organizational skillsA knack for problem-solvingCustomer-service orientationA team player with leadership skillsBSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field is preferredThe compensation range is $60,000-$75,000 or based on experience with benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage.
