Full-Time Nanny Live-In

Mon-Fri 630a-8a and 230p-630/7p + 1/2 day weekend

Medical professional is in search of a live-in nanny to provide care for her 7-year-old child. Live-in care is required as the mom recently lost her husband and is on call (typically one night a week and one weekend per month) and sometimes must leave in the middle of the night or early morning. The bulk of the hours are 630am to 8am getting the child up and ready for school and then again after school starting around 330pm until 630 or 7pm. After school, the nanny will transport the child to and from activities and assist with schoolwork. In addition to general childcare, light household duties including errands and simple meal preparation is helpful. The nanny will be off duty when mom is home. The nanny must be flexible to provide care if the child is sick or school is canceled. The family will guarantee 40 hrs when school is in session and 50 hours when school is not in session. Room, board, including private bed and bath, and food is provided. This family has no pets. The ideal candidate is nurturing, stable, flexible and committed to providing high quality childcare. Candidates must be COVID vaccinated and be willing to mask when leaving the home and going indoors or into large crowds. Since mom is a medical professional and requires a live-in nanny, some flexibility is required.

Duties will include:

General childcare

Tidying up after the child

Light family meal prep and dishes

Driving as needed

Light errands/grocery shopping

Light meal prep

Light housemangement

Light organizing

Compensation:

Room, board and food

Private room and bath

Guaranteed consistent pay 40 hrs when school is in session/50 when out

Paid major holidays

Paid vacation when the family is on vacation (2 months notice provided)

Gas mileage reimbursement for all miles driven during work hours

Access to Netflix, and other household entertainment

Christmas bonus
