Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our esteemed Water & Wastewater Heavy Civil Contracting company in Texas. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in the water and wastewater sector, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, preferably in the heavy civil construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects in Texas and be part of a dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute, and manage water and wastewater heavy civil construction projects in compliance with project specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
  2. Develop detailed project schedules and work plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to project milestones.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  4. Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.
  5. Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring their performance meets project requirements and quality standards.
  6. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
  7. Identify and manage potential risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
  8. Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other project-related records.
  9. Foster positive and collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  10. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including project engineers, field staff, and support personnel, ensuring clear communication and a cohesive work environment.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in water and wastewater heavy civil construction projects.
  3. Familiarity with construction methodologies, industry regulations, and best practices in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and maintain productive working relationships.
  6. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  7. Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations related to water and wastewater construction projects.
  8. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in construction projects.
  9. Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are a plus.
  10. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites within Texas.


Salary and Benefits:

The salary for the Project Manager position is within the range of $120,000 to $190,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
