Job Title: Estimator

A leading Commercial General Contractor based in Austin specializing in delivering exceptional projects across a diverse range of sectors including Healthcare, Municipal, Office, Hospitality and Retail are seeking a Project Estimator to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and adherence to project budget.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Track and analyze historical cost data to improve accuracy of future estimates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Up to 4 years of experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, RSMeans).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
